Va., Phoeba Parsons, and Noah Cottrell, playing old-time songs on fiddle and banjo; and of Lloyd Ballard, Anglo-American banjo player and singer, of Mt. Olivet, Henderson County, N.C., playing old-time banjo tunes and singing ballads and other songs. Also included are term papers written by the collector, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill student Dale Coker.
